IBX eRequest
IBX eRequest is an easy-to-use tool for sending purchase requests to multiple organisations. The tool can be used for tactical purchasing as well as for spot buying and sourcing activities within an existing project. IBX eRequest is template-based and can be used for sourcing products and services.
IBX eRequest can also be used to support service procurement, which usually amounts to 20-30 per cent of the purchasing volume within a company. This is an area which is normally difficult to address with a catalogue-based approach.
IBX eRequest, which is an integrated part of IBX Procurement portal, has been developed to close the solution gap between end-user driven requests (=Price Checks) and IBX eSourcing. IBX eRequest is an integrated part pf IBX spend centric model, aimed at assisting purchasing organisation to:
- Realise the full saving potentials by addressing a large portion of the spend
- Enforce a clear and straight-forward purchasing policy that all parties must comply with
IBX eRequest is used together with IBX Procurement portal, IBX Procurement and IBX Connect.
IBX eRequest allows the purchasing organisation to collect information on a certain product or service from a selection of suppliers. Using IBX eRequest ensures that all necessary information on purchase and delivery agreements are included to make sure that pricing is the key variable.
